Beginning Friday, October 8th, at 4pm, running again on Saturday, expect many different vendors, live music, and of course great beir! Word is there’s a petting zoo and inflatables for kids too.

Take a Kid Fishing Day

Just as the name of the event, Take a Kid Fishing Day is being hosted by the SCDNR & Horry County Fishing Piers on October 16th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Instead of happening at just one pier, it will be happening at 5 different piers in Myrtle Beach. Any child over the age of 3 can attend this fun event and they are asking to pre-register before heading out to one of the Horry County fishing piers including at the Myrtle Beach State Park. Each participant will receive a swag bag, fishing bait, and more all for free.

Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival

Sure to bring some soulful sounds to Myrtle Beach, the 5th Annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival is happening October 15th – 17th and is being headlined by by Dee Lucas, Ryan Montano and Jazmin Ghent.

Celebrating a rich music history of Myrtle Beach, this two day Jazz festival honors the legacy of Charlie Fitzgerald and “Charlie’s Place” which hosted the likes of Little Richard, Otis Redding, Billie Holiday and Ray Charles.

Boardwalk Fright Nights

Halloween is just a few short weeks away which means that fun fright nights are happening over at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. These spooky fright nights are happening every Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Some of the things that you’ll get to experience during these nights are live entertainment, roaming zombies, movies in the park, kid friendly activities and more. Don’t miss this frightening event this October.

We’ll update this post should we find more fall events we think you might want to attend, but whether you’re needing excitement or just some time away from it all, a stay at our resort will not disappoint.

Come relax on the beach while it’s still warm this fall, catch some amazing sunrises and sunsets, shop the outlets, eat great food, and just relax a bit before the holidays.
