This festival is free to attend and will be on the oceanfront between 8th & 9th Avenues in Downtown Myrtle Beach, you will need to purchase food while you are there. Not only will the festival have delicious seafood, but will also have live music, activities for the kids and more. Lighting of the Tree

Get into the holiday spirit before Thanksgiving and head over to Broadway at the Beach on Friday, November 16th. Beginning at 6:00 pm, the 25th Annual Tree Lighting Celebration kicks off for some fun. There will be live music and entertainment, things for the kids to enjoy and even a special visitor all the way from the North Pole. From singing Christmas carols to letting the kids dance to their hearts content, there is something for everyone. This event is free to attend is one you don’t want to miss!

13th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot

Happening at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach is where your family can join in the fun. Don’t fret about how much turkey you may eat later that day because this run will make you ready to enjoy that amazing food. There will be several races going on that day including a 5K, 8K, 1-Mile Run and a Free Tot Trot for the kids. The race begins at 9:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm and is one you won’t want to miss this year.

Located at 2108 South Kings Highway is where you can bring your little ones for the Fire Prevention Expo & Open House. Let the kids explore the fire station with demonstrations, food, fire engine rides and more. You won’t hear “I’m bored” from any of the kids that day as they become a firefighter for the day!

Alabama will be help kick off the festival this year on Thursday, June 6th and it’s a performance you don’t want to miss! If you have never been to a special event at Bass Pro Shops, you are missing out on some extra fun. On Saturday, April 20th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for a fun family Easter event. When you first come into the Bass Pro Shops you will be able to take a picture with the Easter Bunny and receive a free photo. Your kids can do an Easter craft in the store and there will be an egg hunt in the store from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Registration for the egg hunt will begin at 1:30 pm. Don’t miss this fun event at Bass Pro Shops with the kids for a family fun day!

Easter Egg Hunt

Don’t miss the 37th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach is something for everyone to enjoy. Starting at 10:00 am the family can hunt for eggs throughout the park and it’s a free event to join in. Those who want to participate in the egg hunt will be divided into different age groups from infant and up. The Easter Bunny will be taking pictures with everyone and will be handing out candy to all the kids. Bring your camera to capture the moments that will happen at this event!
