Great news for Market Common lovers. Tupelo Honey Cafe have recently announced plans to open in early 2015. The Asheville, NC based restaurant prides itself on made-from-scratch mountain south cuisine. Executive chef, Brian Sonoskus, will bring his creative vision to Howard Avenue and we all cannot wait to try his unique spins on shrimp and grits and cajun skillet catfish.
This will be the 9th restaurant for Tupelo Honey Cafe that residents and recurring visitors to the beach will surely enjoy. The restaurant will be an impressive 8,000 square feet and will have approximately 270 seats with outdoor seating and a bar. While maintaining the integrity of the dishes, Tupelo Honey Cafe will certainly reflect a beachy feel to mesh with the aesthetic.
The Market Common opened in 2008 and has continued to grow immensely. Resting on a former Air Force Base, this residential and commercial combination lifestyle brings a different twist to beach living. Coastal Urge – A clothing store to match your outdoor lifestyle, Coastal Urge has a wide selection of outdoor apparel, shoes, swimwear and childrens’ wear. Coastal Urge also has the latest in coastal gear such as paddle boards, bicycles and surfing equipment.
