Family Kingdom Amusement Park
One of the best things about vacationing in Myrtle Beach each summer is to visit Family Kingdom, Amusement Park. Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach on Kings Highway is where you will find this fun and family-friendly park. Thrill-seekers in the family will love the coasters, and there are plenty of things the younger kids to do as well. The Family Kingdom has a water park as well called Splashes and has ocean views for all to enjoy. Spend a few evenings at the amusement park or spend the day at the waterpark and the rides for later in the day. We promise that your family will be asking to come back for the rest of your trip!
Family Fun at the Lowcountry Zoo
Do you have someone in the family who loves animals and the zoo? If you do, then head on over to the Lowcountry Zoo located at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet. They are open daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Admission to the zoo is Free for Kids 3 & under, $10 for Kids 4-10, $18 for Adults 13-62, and $16 for Seniors 65 & up. You will have to wear face masks, and they do recommend social distancing as well. Some of the fun animals that you will encounter are Alligators, Grey Foxes, Owls, Otters, and more. Don’t forget to bring a camera with you to capture the memories!
Go to a Dinner Show
If you’re looking to do something a little different with the family and something exciting? Head on over to the two different dinner shows that are available in the Grand Strand area. Pirates Voyage is a great dinner show that has pirates, stunts, a four-course meal and entertainment for the whole family! Medieval Times is another fun dinner show that allows you to yell, scream, and get involved in the show. The food at both shows are amazing and will make you want to learn how to make them at home. Enjoy the evening together this summer as you make new memories.
