It’s hard to believe that it is almost March and that only means that St. Patrick’s Day will be here soon too. Myrtle Beach has a lot of fun activities, parades and more to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We wanted to share where some of those are happening this year below.
32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival & Parade
Who doesn’t love a good parade and festival when you come on vacation? This year join in the 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade on March 14th on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. This event happens whether it is raining, or the sun is shining and can bring up to 40,000 people to join in the festivities. This year the parade will be 9:00 am and it’s going to be a great one to watch. After the parade come join in some live entertainment, kids’ activities and different rides to enjoy. There will also be around 150 vendors that will be displaying their products, treats, and crafts. What a great festival to attend with the family and make new memories together!
10th Annual Myrtle Beach Irish Fest
Have you and your family ever seen on tv the Irish dancers? What a great way then to come out to Market Commons and help celebrate the 10th Annual Myrtle Beach Irish Fest. On March 14th your family can experience some amazing live music, fun entertainment and even get to try out different Irish food & drinks. Let the kids play in the kids’ zone and get to experience some fun entertainment for them. The adults of course can enjoy some different drinks that you may only get to try during St. Patty’s Day at the festival. Enjoy together as a family as you wear all the green you can and enjoy some great family fun together.
Shamrock 5K Fun Run
Another fun activity that your family can join in this St. Patrick’s Day is the Shamrock 5K fun run at Market Common. Beginning at 8:00 am is when your family can join in this fun and exciting fun run. This happens to be the 3rd Annual Shamrock 5K and is one that everyone needs to join in. Dress festive in Green and white and enjoy the great outdoors for the morning. Not only will there be the 5K run but there will also be a 1 Mile Fun Run as well. After the race, stay a while and enjoy the 10th Annual Myrtle Beach Irish Fest too beginning at 11:00 am with the family!
